why it is better to choose economy shipping

i bought something the other day. at half.com. it wasn't actually half the price but it was a good price and i really needed it. but that's not the point. the point is i had a choice of regular or express shipping. i always choose regular shipping. even when i do need something in a hurry, which is rare. i deem things not worthy of coming faster for more money. it's not worth the instant gratification. but when i'm waiting for something how do i hate myself for not getting the quick delivery. i want it now. now now now. i don't want to wait. i don't care about the excitement of anticipation. i want my package NOW. dammit. but it's not here. sigh...
