patriots day is celebrating the anniversary of paul revere's ride. and william dawes. wasn't there some one else too. obviously i haven't researched it, it's just what mary said at work. it's only celebrated in massachusetts (obviously) and maine (because maine used to be massachusetts). so that's why i have no patriots day memories. NH doesn't give a shit about other states patriots, even if they did start the revolutionary war. i think we had a christa mcaulliffe day. i can't think of any other famous NH folk except daniel webster, oh and franklin pierce. maybe i can remember...
